Lucy was always kind and generous when we came to St. Petersburg for visits in Dec. She would share her grapefruits with us until the tree blew down in a storm.
Soon after we moved to Florida we had an opportunity to spend the day with Kathy and Lucy at the water park by Busch Gardens. Lucy was fun loving and adventurous, not afraid to go down the slides ending with a big splash. We also enjoyed floating leisurely on inner tubes around the Rambling Bayou.
I remember visiting her home after the women's retreat. Her house was filled with photos and momentos of her family. She loved and was so proud of each and every one of them.
She served the church in a humble way with her radiant smile and sharing her love of music. I spoke with her after the feast last year and she was so grateful to spend the feast in Branson with Beulah and Chuck Little.
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to share many wonderful times with Lucy and her family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
